Summerford Swim and Tennis Association · A Board Meeting was held on 8/3/03, from 7:30-8:30, at the Summerford tennis deck. · Attendees: Jim Astuto, Terri Astuto, Charlie Gross, Jack Jackle, Carl Nordhielm, Barb Zorotovich Tennis: · The tennis court poles and fence were scraped and painted. The work has been completed. · The men’s ALTA league starts on 9/6. There are 2 teams in the subdivision and games are played on Saturday morning. Pool Committee: · The pool closes on 9/2. Starting on 8/11 the lifeguard will only be on-duty during the weekends. · It was brought to the Boards attention that there have been unsupervised children/teenagers swimming in the pool after hours. All homeowners should be aware of the pool rules and ensure that their children do not swim in the pool after hours, due to safety reasons. · The leak in the pump room has been repaired. · It was stated that the pool will need to be resurfaced to repair cracks and soft spots in the concrete. The pool was last resurfaced 6 years ago · Jim and Jack repaired and updated the men’s clubhouse restroom. · Currently no one has volunteered to update and paint the woman’s restroom. Please call Terri if you would like to volunteer. Grounds: · Phase 1 of the clubhouse walkway was completed on 6/14. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help improve our grounds and keep our costs down. Phase 2 of the project, which will complete the remaining section of the sidewalk will be completed in August. Greg is looking for volunteers to help with the effort. · The front entrance fence is currently being scraped and painted. Work will be completed in August. · We are still looking for volunteers for the following tasks: o Trim trees by tennis courts. o Test sprinkler system for leaks. o Power wash front entrance signs o Repair deck lighting. · Please volunteer your time so we can keep our grounds and common areas attractive, property values high and costs down. Treasurer: · All bills are up-to-date. Misc. · Homeowner Board Elections are coming up. A nomination ballot will be passed out to each homeowner.
